VOIP solution won't function

You may find that your VOIP solution doesn't function across Sharedband. To remedy this, please refer to the below guidance as appropriate to the particular solution you are utilising:

Local PBX

Please ensure that you have informed your 'SIP trunk provider' of the appropriate static public facing IP address that you have been allocated by Sharedband. They will then ensure that SIP traffic is routed using the Sharedband address. If you don't have it to hand, you can review your IP address assignment by visiting
https://noc.sharedband.net/customer/config/index.php?SCREEN=config_ip

You will also need to forward/map the necessary ports onward to your PBX. Guidance on our port mapping configurator is available at http://support.sharedband.com/kb/kb15 .

Hosted VOIP solution

Please ensure that you have informed your 'hosted VOIP provider' of the appropriate static public facing IP address that you have been allocated by Sharedband. They will then ensure that SIP traffic is routed using the Sharedband address. If you don't have it to hand, you can review your IP address assignment by visiting https://noc.sharedband.net/customer/config/index.php?SCREEN=config_ip

Please note that the phones will need to be to configured using the Virtual Router IP/VRRP address as a default gateway. If you don't have it to hand, you can check your Virtual Router IP address by viewing https://noc.sharedband.net/customer/status/index.php?SCREEN=status_nodeinfo&id=1
