If you are experiencing lower performance than you expect when operating Sharedband through generic (Linksys, Power) routers. Please ensure that the following security measures are disabled on all outward facing 3rd party routers/modems:

IP Packet Filtering Firewall
Distributed Denial of Service Attack (DDOS) Protection
Intrusion Detection and Prevention (IDP) System
Port Scanning
Antivirus
